1. Provider and scope
Vanthis is provided by:

hello@vanthis.com
These terms apply to the Vanthis website, application and connected agent access over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Separate terms from Google, Clerk, Stripe, your agent's provider or another external service continue to apply to your use of those services.
2. Who may use Vanthis
Vanthis is offered to businesses only. You may use it as an entrepreneur within the meaning of section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB), or on behalf of an organization that you are authorized to bind. It is not offered to consumers. You must be aged 18 or older.
You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in methods secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share an account or use another person's identity. An account does not by itself grant access to a particular workspace; workspace membership and roles remain separate. Until general availability, accounts may be limited to people we invite.
3. The service
Vanthis is a workspace where a team maps its repeatable processes as Motions, with steps, instructions, tools and handoffs, and where the AI agents its members connect (for example Claude, ChatGPT or Codex) read and work on them. Vanthis has no AI model of its own; your agent runs under your agreement with its provider.
We develop the service continuously. Features may change, be added or be removed, and maintenance may briefly interrupt access. We take reasonable care to keep the service available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular service level unless agreed separately in writing, for example in an Enterprise agreement.
4. Workspaces, roles and editors
Each workspace has members with roles. Owners, admins and editors can create and change Motions and count as editors for billing. Viewers and commenters, and the agents members connect, are free. Owners and admins decide who belongs to a workspace and manage its subscription.
5. Trial
The first workspace an account creates starts with a 14-day trial with everything in Pro. The trial needs no payment details and ends by itself; it never turns into a paid subscription without your order. Further workspaces need a subscription from the start.
We may grant individual workspaces free access for a set period or without an end. Such access can be changed or ended for the future with reasonable notice.
6. Subscriptions, prices and payment
A subscription to Pro is billed per editor, either monthly or yearly in advance, at the prices shown on vanthis.com/pricing when you order. Prices are in US dollars and do not include tax. Founding prices stay with a workspace for as long as its subscription runs without interruption.
Subscriptions are sold through Stripe acting as merchant of record (shown at checkout as “Link”). Stripe takes the payment, adds any tax that applies, issues your invoices and handles payment questions, refunds and disputes under its own terms, which you accept at checkout. Vanthis provides the service itself. The number of billed editors follows the editors in the workspace.
A subscription renews for the same period until it is cancelled. We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice; a change takes effect at the next renewal, and you can cancel before it does. A failed payment can lead to the workspace being closed after Stripe's retries end.
7. Cancellation and a closed workspace
Owners and admins can cancel a subscription at any time under Settings, Workspace, Manage subscription. The workspace stays open until the end of the period already paid for. Amounts for periods already started are not refunded unless the law requires it.
When a trial, free access or subscription ends without a running subscription, the workspace is closed for all of its members and their connected agents. We keep a closed workspace's content for 90 days, so a subscription opens it again unchanged. After 90 days we delete it. You can export your Motions while the workspace is open.
We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, non-payment, legal requirements or a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we give notice and a chance to address the issue first; immediate action may be necessary for security, unlawful conduct or harm to others. You can also end your account at any time by writing to hello@vanthis.com.
8. Your content and responsibilities
You retain your rights in content that you submit to Vanthis. You grant us a non-exclusive right to host, reproduce, process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service for you and your authorized collaborators.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for the content, personal data and source links you add. External systems remain authoritative for work performed there. A link, resource or agent connection does not prove that Vanthis or an agent can access or act in that external system.
You remain responsible for reviewing consequential actions and outputs. Agent-generated suggestions and change sets are proposals. They do not change authored Motion content until an authorized user explicitly approves the exact proposal through the supported review flow, unless a workspace has turned on self-learning for a step, which lets the agent apply corrections to that step's skill and instructions, each one recorded with a way to undo it.
9. Acceptable use
You must not:
- access or attempt to access accounts, workspaces or data without authorization;
- upload unlawful content or content that infringes another person's rights;
- use Vanthis to distribute malware, phishing, spam or deceptive material;
- interfere with the service, bypass security controls or access limits, probe vulnerabilities without permission or place unreasonable load on the service;
- use another user's credentials or misrepresent your identity, authority or approval;
- use the service in a way that violates applicable law.
10. Vanthis rights
Vanthis, its software, design, brand, documentation, Playbooks and other provider materials remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials. You may use the service only for the purposes allowed by these terms and the access granted to you.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where liability is mandatory by law. For ordinary negligence, we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, and liability is limited to damage that was foreseeable and typical when the agreement was formed.
Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate copies of important content and for independently checking decisions or actions that depend on external systems or agents.
12. Data protection
How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, security requirements or applicable law change. We publish the current version here with its effective date. We tell registered users about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
14. Governing law
German law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Where you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the courts of Munich have exclusive jurisdiction, as far as the law permits such an agreement.
