What a Motion is
A Motion is one of your sales or marketing workflows, written down so people and agents run it the same way every time. It lives on a Canvas as steps and connections, and each step carries its own instructions, documents and tools.
Whichever way you start, your agent writes a draft. Nothing becomes part of your Workspace until someone on your team accepts it.
From scratch
Describe the goal in your own words, for example the kind of lead you want to reach. Your agent asks only what it needs, usually the trigger, the result and your tools, and writes the draft itself.
From a Playbook
A Playbook is a researched starting structure for a common workflow, such as ICP mapping or lead enrichment. Name the Playbook, answer the few questions that change the result, such as which of your tools covers each capability, and your agent builds the Motion from it.
In the web app, Als Motion verwenden on a Playbook creates the Motion directly.
From your existing process
Walk your agent through how your team works today, in whatever order you remember it. It captures the workflow step by step, asks when a choice blocks the next step, and keeps your real steps. Before it drops anything, it asks.
When the capture is complete, your agent turns it into a draft. Links to your tools and documents can follow later.
What a draft contains
- Steps of five kinds: Signal, Action, Decision, Asset and Outcome. The web app shows them as Signal, Aktion, Entscheidung, Asset and Ergebnis.
- The connections between steps.
- Instructions for each step, with longer documents attached as Unterlagen.
- Links to Resources in your Workspace, such as tools and sheets.
- Skills: a reusable method an agent follows on a step.
Where the draft lands
Your agent says briefly what it proposed and gives you a review link. In Vanthis, the Motion appears in your list as Entwurf. Review it under Vorschläge and choose Motion anlegen to create version 1 for your whole Workspace.
